Wisdom From Above

Lesson 5

Last week we talked about some of our supernatural tools, especially the Glory. Today we are focusing on how ascending is also a tool to gain the wisdom of heaven.

James 3:16-17 (AMPC) “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted, straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).” We make important decisions daily about our family, ministry, businesses, jobs, and finances. We must quit making decisions from this earthly realm. The wisdom that is ‘from below’ is earthly, unspiritual and even demonic. It comes from the flesh. We are listening to our own reasoning and limited amount of understanding. The enemy’s job is to put thoughts in your mind. They want you to think that those thoughts are your thoughts, or God’s. They want to shipwreck the situation. You will start the wrong business, pursue the wrong ministry, send your child to the wrong school, make a wrong purchase, buy the wrong house, buy a car you can’t afford…all the while, thinking that it’s God. The enemy is saying, “Go ahead! I want to bless you!” (God wants to bless you but perhaps not at this minute…His timing is perfect, wait for Him.) When we are hearing the demonic our flesh says, “I want that car! God told me to go for it even though I can’t afford it…” Stop making decisions down here! You will be listening to your own reasoning and limited knowledge, and to a bunch of demons who are chattering in your mind – trying to get you to make decisions that are according to their will.

But the wisdom from above is first of all pure and undefiled! When I have confusion in my mind, I know that I am under attack and I need to get above it! Stop wondering if you should do this or that! Go up and get heaven’s perfect answer for every problem or question!

Every day I go up and ask, “What do I do about this Lord?” I get heaven’s perfect answer. I mess up when I don’t go up and ask. When I say “Let’s just do this,” using my own itty bitty wisdom, I mess it up.

People ask, “How did you grow so fast? You came out of nowhere! You accelerated so quickly!” I tried my best never to listen to myself – or demons. I find my answers are usually wrong. God always has something unexpected that I would never think of. God will give you a revelation, understanding, a whole new way of doing things when you begin to ascend. With that new understanding, that decision will not fail you. You won’t get into the wrong business agreement, start the wrong company, pursue the wrong ministry or send your kid to the wrong school. You will not fail. You will see fruit and explosion happen because you went up above this realm where the enemy dwells and your flesh rules – and you got heaven’s perfect answer.

When you learn to ascend into the heavenly realms, it means you will gain a whole new level of power over the principalities of the dark realm. Your warfare is going to be on a whole new level of ease.

Satan is called the prince of the power of the air. His base camp is in the second heavens; in this atmosphere and the heavens above it. His troops come down here to work – to assault, harass, and torment us. Learning to ascend above into the third heavens to engage the enemy will cause your warfare to shift. Victory in battles will come swiftly to you. No more rebuking demons 18 hours a day for 2 years straight without any results. God is tired of this and wants His people to be empowered with tools from the realm of heaven that will shift the war in favor of the Kingdom of Heaven. The Bible says in Ephesians 2:6 that the enemy is under our feet because Jesus won the right for us with His Blood to be seated in heavenly realms with Him. We need to begin to operate from up there.
