Soaking by Worshipping

Lesson 3

When we get in the presence of the Lord and remain there, the living waters of the Lord – the power of the Lord and His presence – saturates deep into us to help us with even the hardest things that we’re trying to figure out. We talked about soaking in God’s word, but you also need to soak in worship.

Let’s look at this amazing story from Matthew 8:1-3 (AMPC). “When Jesus came down from the mountain, great throngs followed Him. And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me by curing me. And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed”.

Check that out; the leper came and worshiped! Jesus is always willing. He said to the leper, “I am willing to heal and cleanse you,” and the leprosy left. I believe the worship really positioned that man to receive the healing. So, you can do the same thing. Jesus is always willing to heal you. Now, come before him in worship, and position yourself to receive your miracle, amen?

Worship is amazing, and you will see results. I can’t tell you how many times I have had a major issue: physical, mental, or emotional, and I’ve worshiped and received the breakthrough.

My ribs had been broken in a car accident. Well, I went to sleep during the night, and while I was sleeping, my broken ribs were healed! Only 14 days after the accident, I woke up, completely healed.

I even went and got an x-ray to prove that this miracle had happened!

But, before I went to bed that night, I spent an hour with my friends worshiping. I simply sat on my couch holding my side, singing weakly, because I was in so much pain, and I worshiped. I believe I was just like the leper. I had positioned myself for the miracle. I came before the Lord, threw myself down in front of his feet, worshiped him, and then asked Him, “If You are willing, You can heal me!” And of course He said, “Yes, I am willing, because I love you so much.” I went to bed and woke up healed.

Worship causes a breakthrough for you. So, if you have a problem and you don’t know how to fix it, turn on your favorite worship music and go for it. Sing with all your heart! You are going to see God move for you, because God is willing, and he will heal you.

Worship is going to make a gigantic breakthrough for you when you have sickness, disease, attack, or financial lack. Whatever you’re dealing with, you need to worship. So, please, as you listen to worship, enter in with the worship team. That’s how you get healed. You don’t get healed by just mindlessly watching worship on the TV. You get healed by interacting with the worship. Sing along with the worship, keep your focus on the Lord while you’re doing it, and believe that you are setting yourself up for a breakthrough.
